I must admit I was a little shocked and stunned when I went to Fabory for an order of nuts and bolts, For me as an Englishman I am accustomed to reasonable prices, now I know I am in Belgium but who on earth can justify these prices?

For my Discovery 1 suspension rebuild I required----

4 X 3/4UNF 4inch bolts

4 X 3/4UNF nyloc nuts

4 X 5/8UNF 4inch bolts

4 X 5/8UNF nyloc nuts

A price of 154.63 euro!!!

I ordered a full suspension kit for my Discovery with Joachim from BCP for less than 30 euro and that has a lot more nuts bolts and washers in it than the 8 items I was going to order!!

Seriously not impressed!!!

It is normal with Fabory.
you have paid for the time they've gotted in stock.One year more in stock ....= +5% more in uprising retail price
Thats what they told me some time ago, i went to them for a one leafspring bolt 4" 19/32 unf for Series III...€ 17,00 en for the nut € 1,67 ....i needed four pieces ...buth i had only three in stock ( € 2,88 from out of u.k.)

I only get one day off in the week and it is nice to have a drive out and see the world outside of our farm so a trip to Antwerpen would be a nice ride out, I used to live in Herentals when I first came to Belgium and I found Peeters Land Rover very helpful,much more helpful than Land Rover Hasselt!!!

Ha, not sure if driving from Hasselt towards Antwerp on a regular weekday is that much fun (congested traffic ).
But you can always try the smaller roads; although traffic around here is usually pretty dense.
Just avoid rush hour; that will help a lot already .
